For our next section leader spotlight, we move towards the brass section to take a look at our three mellophone New York-native leaders!

Veteran tip for band camp/school: You only live Freshman year once! Make a variety of friends, strive for great grades but also have fun!

Favorite thing about marching band: I love how welcoming everyone is and how the band may be huge, but you still get to know and becoming friends with each and every person!
Favorite activity outside of band: Playing volleyball or hanging out with my brother who goes to ESF! (Thats him in the picture)
Veteran tip for band camp/school: Don’t be afraid to be yourself and be outgoing right from the start! If you have a comment or a question, people are always willing to listen to what you have to say!
Who’s your celebrity crush? Definitely Chris Evans as Captain America
What’s your dream job? My dream is to be able to teach music to elementary students internationally someplace exciting like Africa or Europe! I strongly believe that music is a universal language and love learning about the roles music plays in different cultures!
What’s your spirit animal? Well, according to www.animalinyou.com, I’m a horse, but I like to think of myself as a red fox because we have the same color hair and we’re both basically nocturnal.
