Name: Kiki LeeKikiLee
Year: Somehow already a Junior
Major: Dual Major (Forensic Science and Psychology)
Hometown: Tully, NY
Position and Section: Clarinet Section Leader
Favorite thing about marching band: Getting to meet the people who would soon become some of the greatest friends I’ve ever had
Favorite activity outside of band: Taking way too many pictures of my cat to expand his modeling portfolio
Veteran tip for band camp/school: For band camp? Always strive to be at the front of the line for lunch and dinner because #goals. For the school year? Carry that level of pride and motivation you have on the field with you everywhere on campus. Do that, and you’ll succeed in your academic pursuits.
Coke or Pepsi? Mountain Dew. Yeah, it wasn’t a choice, but I don’t play by the rules.
What’s your guilty pleasure song? Stab My Back by The All-American Rejects because I’m super angsty and stuck in the early 2000s.
What Hogwarts House are you in? Many people are surprised by this, but I was sorted into the house of Slytherin, where Draco Malfoy and I live happily ever after.

Name: Amanda GreenbackerAmandaGreenbacker
Year: Senior
Major: Music Education

Position and Section: Flute Music Instructor
Favorite thing about marching band: The Quad Show!  The energy is so high, and it’s just so much fun!
Favorite activity outside of band: Playing with my new kitty, Dexter!
Veteran tip for band camp/school: Please, for your own mental health, take some time for you.  A wise woman once told me “make time to waste time.”  Take a half hour, breathe, watch some Bob’s Burgers, and de-stress; it will save you so much grief in the long run.
Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 duck sized horses? 100 duck-sized horses, absolutely.  If you spin in a circle with a stick you can take them out one by one.
What’s your favorite viral video? “BEARS BEARS BEARS BEARSBEARS BEARS BEARS BEARS BEARS BEARS BEA” from David Goode, look it up. Trust me.
What’s your guilty pleasure song?: Oh my… “Always Be My Baby” from Mariah Carey.  I am not ashamed.  Girl can belt!

Name: Kevin VargaKevinVarga
Year: Junior
Major: Music Education
Hometown: North Andover, MA
Position and Section: Trumpet Music Instructor
Favorite thing about marching band: Game days!
Favorite activity outside of band: I love to go hiking, especially during the summer.
Veteran tip for band camp/school: Get a good pair of shoes for rehearsal. No one likes marching with blisters.
Describe your section in 6 words: (It’s seven, I cheated… Oops)
“Everyone up for the magical mystery tour!”
Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 duck sized horses?
I would fight the horse sized duck, tame it, and then ride it around instead of using a car.
Coke or Pepsi? Definitely Coke
